About Our Veteran Alumni Community
Our History
Founded in 1995, the Veteran Alumni Community began as a small group of veterans who had transitioned to academic life and wanted to maintain their connections. What started as informal gatherings has grown into a nationwide network with over 5,000 members across 25 states.
Our founders recognized the unique challenges that veterans face when transitioning from military service to academic environments and eventually to civilian careers. They envisioned a community that would provide support, resources, and networking opportunities.
